Tom Mottershead

Tom Mottershead, who collapsed dramatically during our Christmas lunch at Hayfield, is safe and well at home. He was kept in Stepping Hill for observation, where it was established that he had a chest infection, now being treated with antibiotics. Thanks should go to Ruth Austen, who managed the situation very professionally drawing on her nursing skills until the paramedic and an ambulance arrived, and to Sara Fagg for taking initial charge and calling the emergency services.

On a happier note, the Christmas celebration was enjoyed by all!
