Meet at 9.00 for 9.15 departure, unless otherwise noted

Be aware that we are now offering two rides on some Sundays, to give a range of speed and distance.


Are you coming? To assist with booking arrangements for lunch stops, please text, WhatsApp or phone the ride leader with as much notice as possible if you want to reserve a place for lunch. Sometimes, lunch places may be limited, though you are still welcome to come if you bring your own food.

Explore Manchester's industrial heritage (and cycling infrastructure!)

Cheadle / Stable Cafe, Heaton Park / Robin Hood, TottiCheadlengton / Back passing RHS Bridgewater and along canal / Cream tea at Chez Debbie / 50 miles, under 2000' climbing / Please let Debbie know if you're having a pub meal, and also if you require a roast dinner (beef or turkey), as these will need pre-ordering.  Also RSVP for Debbie's cream scones / Debbie Jackson 07939 094112

A hilly ride but will be at a steady pace, with some nice views and long descents

Hazel Grove / Fairways Garden Centre, Sutton / Pack Horse Inn,  Crowdecote / 48 miles, 4,290 feet of ascent. Returning via Buxton / Roger Hubbold

Route: Hazel Grove to Crowdecote


Sunday 27 July

Low mileage, lots of hills and lovely views, at a slower pace (this is a 'B' ride)

Hazel Grove / The Locks, Marple / New Mills Golf Club / Gwynedd Miller

Route will be something like this: Hazel Grove - Marple - New Mills and back
